It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Minimum System Requirements
The Home and Student Edition of the 2007 Microsoft Office system includes the following programs:
Microsoft Office Word 2007
Microsoft Office Excel 2007
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007
Microsoft Office OneNote 2007
Additional programs are available with other editions and separately.
To install and run these programs, your computer needs to meet the following minimum requirements:
500 megahertz (MHz) processor
256 megabytes (MB) RAM
CD or DVD drive
2 gigabytes (GB) available hard disk space; a portion of this disk space will be freed if you select the option to delete the installation files
Tip
Hard disk requirements will vary depending on configuration; custom installation choices might require more or less hard disk space.
