I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
7 Performing Calculations on Data
To create a named range from selected cells
On the Formula Bar, click the Name Box.
Type the name you want for the range, and then press
.
To create a named range from a selection including the name
Select the cells you want to name as a range. Be sure either the first or last cell contains the name for the range.
On the Formulas tab, in the Defined Names group, click Create from Selection.
Select the check box for the cell that contains the name you want. Then click OK.
To display the Name Manager
On the Formulas tab, in the Defined Names group, click Name Manager.
