One of the essential steps before mastering is to grade your project. For precise color grading, suites must be carefully calibrated to provide a true and accurate representation of how the final image will look. Rooms are dimly lit using recessed lighting fixtures and feature neutral gray wall backgrounds to create the most effective and consistent professional viewing environments. Grading decisions take place in front of a high-end video reference monitor (for broadcast) or with a digital light projector (DLP) that emulates the digital cinema environment.
