Visual Studio enthält einen Verbreitungsassistenten für Webwendungen. Man erreicht ihn über das Menü Build/Deploy oder den Kontextmenüeintrag Deploy in einem Webprojekt.
Visual Studio kennt verschiedene Verbreitungsarten:
- Auslieferung an einen Ordner im Dateisystem. Hier kann man einen bereits im IIS gemappten oder einen beliebigen anderen Ordner angeben.
- Verbreitung per File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
- Auslieferung per Web Deploy
- Auslieferung an einen Azure App Service
- Auslieferung an eine virtuelle Maschine in Azure
Man kann in dem Verbreitungsassistenten die kompilierte Anwendung direkt zu einem dieser Ziele senden oder aber ein Profil erstellen, das man später immer wieder aufrufen ...
