So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Chapter 8, “Entity Detection and Tracking,” discusses methods for determining whether types of real-world entities, such as people, organizations, and locations, are mentioned in text, what the boundaries of those referring expressions are, and methods for determining when those entity mentions corefer.
Chapter 9, “Relations and Events,” focuses on extracting from a corpus of text relevant entities, their relevant properties, and the relationships among them, then storing the information in a structured way.
Chapter 10, “Machine Translation,” describes methods for automatically translating from one human language to another.
