Annex C lists the configuration commands in different routers and switches for the network depicted in Figure C.1. As can be seen, the network comprises three routers and four switches. Contrarily to the case described in Chapter 11, where two virtual local area networks (VLAN) are configured in the same switch, the network of Figure C.1 considers that hosts belonging to the same VLAN are connected to different switches. The configuration of the switches is similar with the difference that the interfaces used to interconnect the two switches need to be configured in trunk mode.
