In the networked delay compensation control approaches proposed in Chapter 4, Chapter 5, and Chapter 6, the CIPs are computed based on the delayed state/output measurements [228, 223, 207, 204], which indicates the existing networked delay compensation control methods are only effective in compensating for the delay in the controller-to-actuator channel in CPSs, and how to compensate the sensor-to-controller channel delay is also important and interesting.
