It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This book, edited by Professors Pestoff, Brandsen and Verschuere, is a major step forward in the integration of the concept of co-production with other key concepts used in policy analysis, including the third sector, housing cooperatives, information sciences and a wide variety of public policy problems. They draw on research that has been conducted in many countries in Europe, including Germany, Italy, Norway and Sweden. This volume marks the beginning of a new era when co-production is viewed as an important process that can increase the benefits to citizens as well as to public officials trying to improve the quality of public services without major increases in costs.
