When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
disable_symlinks
This directive allows you to control the way Nginx handles symbolic links when they are to be served. By default (the directive value is off), symbolic links are allowed and Nginx follows them. You may decide to disable the following symbolic links under different conditions by specifying one of these values:
- on: If any part of the requested URI is a symbolic link, access to it is denied and Nginx returns a 403 HTTP error page.
- if_not_owner: Similar to the previous, but access is denied only if the link and the object it points to have different owners.
- The optional parameter from= allows you to specify a part of the URL that will not be checked for symbolic links. For example, disable_symlinks on from=$document_root will ...
