So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Displaying a List of Databases
Often you may need to just see a list of databases that have been created, especially if you have created a large number of database or are not the only one administering the system. To see a list of databases in a system, use the show dbs command:
show dbs
