Hypotheses Testing for Several Samples
2.1 Friedman Rank Test for Location Parameter for Several Dependent
Samples
When means of more than two dependent samples are compared, the parametric
approach calls for the repeated measures analysis of variance. A reasonable non-
parametric technique in this case is the Friedman rank test for location parameters.
This test was introduced in 1937 by an American economist and statistician Milton
Friedman (1912-2006).
