My assistant came into my office. “There’s a guy outside your office with shells around his neck and a crazy pair of Nikes. He says he has a meeting with you.”

That’s how I met Tom. Our business in Germany had been working with him on the creation of the World Peace Festival brand and Tom had asked if we could meet so that he could tell me all about the festival, the foundation, his mission, and how we could help.

“Don’t forget you have a call in 30 minutes,” my assistant said.

Two hours later Tom left my office. I had a new mission—to bring peace to the world—and a new friend.
