Conclusion

Row-level security is a very important tool for securing databases at the row level. Although RLS is very useful in security-conscious applications and databases, its utility extends beyond security. It can also be used to restrict access to certain rows of the table, eliminate the need to maintain applications for changing query conditions, and even selectively make a table effectively read-only. Using many combinations of variables inside the policy function, you can create a customized view of the data inside a table, and, in this way, both satisfy the needs of users and create more maintainable applications.
