I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER9Shooting at a Moving Target
Dynamic SQL has been the topic of dozens of whitepapers and presentations over the years. Most of those papers and presentations have focused on familiarizing rank-and-file developers with the concept of building code on the fly. Deep discussion of the impact of Dynamic SQL on the development process is hard to find. Full-scale case studies of the production usage of Dynamic SQL have also been lacking. As a result, there is more fear and mistrust of the technology than there is meaningful understanding of it. The feedback from the Oracle Database user community causes us to reach the following conclusions:
