Daniel Chen is a research associate and data engineer at the Social and Decision Analytics Laboratory at the Biocomplexity Institute of Virginia Tech. He is pursuing a PhD in the interdisciplinary program in Genetics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology (GBCB). He completed his master’s in public health (MPH in epidemiology) at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where he looked at attitude diffusion in social networks. His current research interest is repurposing administrative data to inform policy decision-making.
