Duality Dissolved
The normal human condition is to live in a duality. In this state of being, we perceive the world separately from our own existence, and distinguish between subject and object; however, almost everyone has a desire to experience unity. Meditation deals very strongly with this idea that the duality between the perceiving subject and perceived object can be suspended. Zen Buddhism speaks of the non-ego, and present the idea that you can learn how to dissolve the ego.
