In the past I've always dedicated my books to my family. And indeed I hope that they are well aware that I am very grateful for their continued support. But this book is dedicated to Dr. Brotherson. When photographers talk about their vision, we usually mean it figuratively. We take the literal for granted until something stops us in our tracks, which can be absolutely terrifying.
