I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Data
For the demonstrations in this chapter three datasets will be used. The first of these is a dataset of fuel economy data for various vehicle models. The fuel economy dataset is made available by the U.S. Department of Energy. The fuel economy dataset has a large number of non descriptive data variables, so I've also included a link to the description of the data in the external resources.
The second dataset used is a dataset of gas prices, made available by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The third dataset is the artificial road length data used in the previous chapters. This dataset contains the total amount of road length by year in hypothetical regions of a hypothetical country.
