I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In summary, this has been a brief introduction to R, but it just scratches the surface of the features of the R language. R is a fully functional programming language, so there are quite a few ways to approach any given problem. In the Links and Further Reading document of the external resources, I've provided some links that go into more depth on the R language. The external resources are available at https://goo.gl/8S58ra.
In the next chapter, I will introduce the dplyr package for R. The dplyr documentation refers to dplyr as a "grammar for data manipulation". The dplyr package can be used to express a number of data manipulation operations in a neat and concise manner.
