Firefox

Firefox is a widely-used browser that started in 2004 and has kept developing since. Starting from version 3, it started to use the SQLite format to store the usage artifacts except for the cache, and since this version the location of these artifacts is the same.

The location of the cache is at the following places:

  • Before Windows Vista: <SystemPartition>\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile folder>
  • Since Windows Vista: <SystemPartition>\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile folder>
