One of the most apparent domains where DAX is applied is the calculation of measures on top of existing data, for example, calculating measures that return cumulated values over time. An area that’s maybe not the first thought if one considers using DAX is to discover missing things. “Missing things” – admittedly – sounds vague; for this reason, it has to be explained in more detail.
