I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

WHAT’S NEW IN WINDOWS 8.1
Windows 8.1 has significantly changed the way Search works. Searching in the Charms bar will allow the user to look for files (local and OneDrive), apps, and settings. The user can also select to narrow the search.
Microsoft has also backed off of the “No Chrome” stance somewhat and also introduced a SearchBox control. If you recall from the Windows 8.0 guidance, all chrome (as in buttons, tabs, etc.) was to be moved into the AppBar. The new guidance allows some flexibility in the UI, but the goal is still content over chrome. The third sample illustrates how to use the new SearchBox ...
