I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

God of Love was rejected at Sundance, Southwest, Tribeca, and a lot of big film festivals. Eighteen minutes is a tricky length for programming at a festival. That’s true. It is hard when you’ve got a lengthier short. The first kind of big break was the Student Academy Awards. It had won the regional and then made it to the Student Oscars. By winning the gold medal at the Student Oscars, that qualified me to submit for the Oscars.
