I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Let's summarize what we saw in this chapter. You learned how to install the software components that are required for the whole book, such as the VI package manager and the LINX interface for Arduino. This way, you will be able to control Arduino boards from LabVIEW.
We also saw a basic example of a VI used to control an Arduino board, and as an application, we controlled the on-board LED on the Arduino Uno board.
At this stage, it is really important that you perform every step of this chapter correctly, as we will build all the projects in the book based on these steps.
