Devices and the cloud are perfect together. As cloud computing becomes ubiquitous, tremendous computing power permeates every aspect of our lives. Cloud computing no longer is limited to PCs and mobile phones—it includes devices such as wearable devices, robots, vehicles, appliances, and buildings. At the same time, these devices continuously feed petabytes of data back to the cloud and refine its models and algorithms to provide better, more intelligent services. It’s unavoidable that the physical world represented by devices and the virtual world represented by the cloud will merge into a more intelligent, more convenient, more sustainable, and more creative world.
