This new edition of Protective Relaying has been written to update and expand the treatment of many important topics in the first edition, which was published in 1987. The structure is similar to that of the first edition, but each chapter has been carefully reviewed and changes have been made throughout to clarify material, present advances in relaying for the protection of power systems, and add additional examples. The chapter on generator protection has been completely rewritten to reflect current governmental rules and regulations.
