Looping Over Data

Looping over data structures is a common programming task that involves iterating through the elements of a collection or data structure such as a list.

my_list = [2, 5, 7, 8, 9]

for element in my_list:

    print(element)

Here, a for loop that iterates over each element in my_list. In each iteration, the current element is assigned to the variable element and printed to the screen.
