Getting ready
In this recipe, we are going to work with another vulnerable application: DVD X Player 5.5 PRO. You can download it from: https://rejahrehim.com/assets/sample-package/dvd_player_sample.zip.
As in the previous recipe, we need a victim machine, Windows XP, installed with the Immunity Debugger and mona.py. Also, install the downloaded application, DVD X Player 5.5 PRO, in the Windows machine.
