A big part of writing and running tests that we haven’t discussed much yet in this book is what to do when the tests fail. When one or more test fails, we need to figure out why. It’s either a problem with the test, or a problem with the code we are testing. Either way, the process to figure it out is called debugging. In the next chapter, we’ll look at the many flags and features that pytest has to help you with debugging.
