When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
Santiago Alvarez, CCIE No. 3621, is a technical marketing engineering for Cisco Systems working on MPLS and QoS since 2000. He joined Cisco in the blazing days of 1997. Prior to Cisco, Santiago worked in software development for Lucent Technologies. He has been involved with computer networking since 1991. Santiago is a frequent speaker at Cisco Networkers and a periodic contributor to Cisco Packet Magazine. He holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from EAFIT University, a master of Science degree in computer science from Colorado State University, and a master of science in telecommunications from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
