So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Applications of Quantum Theory
Much of the value of any branch of science lies in what it has done for us lately. The protagonists of our story understood this all right, and it didn’t take them long to develop applications for their newfangled discoveries. Quantum technologies have proliferated ever since, and these days we can’t drive to Grandma’s house or purchase kitty litter at the check-out lane without taking advantage of quantum physics.
But the quantum technologies of today pale in comparison to potential new avenues in the future. Applications of quantum physics to improved health, faster computers, and more secure communications lie just over the horizon. Ideas even more profound are but a few quantum jumps away.
