So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 10: Monitoring and Logging
The previous chapters covered cluster configuration, backup, and recovery. This chapter will cover Rancher monitoring and how Rancher uses Prometheus and Grafana to collect metrics for a cluster and then appoint them. Then, we will cover Rancher logging and how Rancher uses the Banzai Cloud Logging operator and Fluent Bit to collect the logs from the Kubernetes components and collect application logs, including filtering logs.
