So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we discussed various aspects of Spark Streaming. We discussed the architecture, components, and the packaging structure of Spark Streaming. We also coded and executed our first Spark Streaming application and we also performed real-time analysis on our Chicago crime data using Spark Streaming and Spark SQL.
In the next chapter, we will discuss the Lambda Architecture that provides a unified framework for batch and real-time processing.
