About the Author
Matt Miszewski has lived within each of the four forces highlighted in his book Rebuilding Broken Systems. His experience has shown him the bright parts, dark holes, and opportunities to shine in each of these types of organizations and has informed his advocacy for young participants in these organizations to lead the way to stronger communities.
Born into and raised by a family of labor activists in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, social justice and the empowerment of disenfranchised communities has been core to Matt’s life both personally and professionally. A trained civil rights attorney, Matt continued his career in government, first working for Congressman Jerry Kleczka, a member of the powerful Ways and Means Committee, and going on to work for Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle to strengthen the broken infrastructure of local communities, and has since married his commitment to improving societal inequities with deploying technology solutions for social good at firms including Microsoft, Salesforce, and Socrata.
Matt brings in years of expertise building revolutionary, disruptive technological transformation programs and global GTM strategies that transformed the status quo and has built incredible teams and leaders who have achieved unbelievable goals together.
