This book is about regression analysis. Nevertheless, I’m going to discuss correlation before digging into regression. Correlation is an essential building block in any regression analysis. Furthermore, it’s impossible to understand regression analysis without an understanding of correlation.
So, even though I suspect that you already have a good sense of the meaning of correlation, I want to spend some pages reviewing it here. You might even find something that’s new to you.
