Responsible AI: Best Practices for Creating Trustworthy AI Systems
by CSIRO, Qinghua Lu, Jon Whittle, Xiwei Xu, Liming Zhu
Part III
Case Studies
We introduced generic patterns for all the AI ethics principles in the previous chapters. The question remains: How can organizations effectively govern the development and use of AI systems using these patterns?
In Part III of this book, we discuss three case studies to help organizations apply the patterns in different contexts: 1) a specific company context (i.e., Telstra); 2) a specific use case context (i.e., talent acquisition); and 3) a more generic use case to select/adapt the patterns to create a coherent set of guidelines for a particular concern, namely, diversity and inclusion in AI.
Here, we briefly introduce each case study, with particular reference to which patterns in the catalogue have been applied.
