3. Rolling Robots

Although the buzzbots you built in Chapter 1, “You, Robot Builder,” are cool, there’s something about them that could be improved—most obviously by adding one of the coolest inventions ever—the wheel!

The wheeled robot you’ll work on (shown in Figure 3.1) won’t be super sophisticated. Mostly it will just roll in one direction until you turn it off. It is nevertheless a great opportunity to learn about wheels, motors, and the chassis that holds the robot together.
