I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 11. CGI and the Web
Ruby has gotten a lot of attention as a language particularly well suited for web programming, especially in the context of the Rails development framework. Some people even go so far as to categorize Ruby as a web language, suggesting that it is not a full-fledged general-purpose programming language. I hope that the previous chapters have played at least a modest role in convincing readers that this assertion is false.
