It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Today you learned how to implement components in .NET. By going through the example of creating the Class Library application, you saw that creating a reusable piece of code is not a difficult task. You also gained a basic understanding of how to use your existing COM components in a .NET application. You now know that the code you wrote before you started using .NET can still be accessed in a number of ways by using the tools provided by Visual Studio .NET.
