It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Lesson 24. Abstract Classes, Multiple Inheritance, and Static Members
In this lesson you will learn how to create abstract classes to force derived classes to have certain members, how to inherit from several superclasses, and how to provide services from a class without requiring instantiation.
