Here is how this polyline is placed in a graph and how each segment is drawn.
The first segment (S1) is drawn from the polyline starting point to the ending point that
is specified in the first segment observation. The second segment (S2) is drawn from the
ending point of S1 to the ending point that is specified in the S2 observation. This
pattern repeats for the remaining segments.
A polygon is similar to a polyline except that the segments must form a closed shape. If
