5.1 Introduction to Time-to-Event Endpoints
In Chapter 2, you saw how you could use Kaplan-Meier curves to analyze the time to the first Dermatological Event. In this chapter, the time-to-event analysis will be explored more. You will see how you can create graphs that help you to analyze the common oncology endpoints: overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS). An overall survival example will be shown, and because the data for the overall survival and progression-free survival is in a similar format, it is easy for you to replicate the overall survival examples on progression-free survival data.
