It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Specs2 is an equally popular and powerful test framework as ScalaTest for unit testing Scala application code. There are both pros and cons of using Specs2. There are some benefits like and extensive choice of Matchers and running parallel tests. More than the actual benefits, it boils down to individual preference whether to use Specs2 or ScalaTest.
