21.2 Automating the Network Configuration (KVMs)

“Cloning” a virtual machine means that all the properties of the source system are preserved. For this reason, all configuration files are also cloned. In most cases, that is exactly what you want, but there are exceptions. One of these exceptions is related to the static network configuration. As far as the network adapters do not obtain their addresses automatically via DHCP, the network configuration files of each virtual machine must be adjusted, as otherwise network conflicts will occur.
