It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

These steps focus on short-term protection because the data is present only for a short time. In this section, let’s look at how to protect your data for the long term. If you’re saving it in storage, you want to keep it for a long time, right? As long as you have the data saved somewhere, someone will try to target it in an attack.
