Chapter 8. Optimal Spatial Filtering and Adaptive Algorithms

In Chapter 3, adaptive spatial filtering was introduced as a way for the array to track mobile units as they move and account for time variability in the radio channel. In this chapter, optimal spatial filtering techniques and adaptive algorithms are presented. This presentation includes a variety of blind adaptive algorithms which are well-suited for CDMA.
