4.1 INTRODUCTION
Material implication is a conditional proposition normally represented as (x → y),
where x is the antecedent, y is the consequent. A conditional proposition is a complex
proposition consisting of the two sub-propositions x and y connected with the material
implication connective "→". The natural language interpretation of material implica-
tion is "if x is TRUE, then y is TRUE", or simply as "x implies y". But the natural
language interpretation of material implication does not say anything about the case,
