Chapter 3. Measuring Current and Voltage
This chapter continues the book’s practical approach to studying basic electronics, by showing the reader how to build more simple circuits on breadboard, and taking measurements within and around those circuits. Practical aspects such as tinning the ends of connecting leads with solder and soldering iron are considered. Theoretical aspects such as considering a complex circuit as a collection of smaller, more easily understandable circuits are also looked at. Use of a multimeter to measure current through a circuit or part of circuit, and voltage across part of a circuit is described. Current and voltage are considered as positive and negative values.
