I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Data input types-data stream and reference data
Stream Analytics provides support for Data Stream as a continuous unlimited sequence of events over a particular timestamp referenced by Azure Event Hub, IoT Hub, and Blob storage. A job should contain at least one data stream input, which contains complex events from any of a wide variety of data sources like vehicle sensors, devices, social feeds, and clickstreams.
The reference data is defined as static data blocks that have slow modification and schema updates. Azure Blob storage supports reference data stream sources for Stream Analytics jobs to perform mainly data correlation, joining, and lookups.
