It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
PREFACE
The need for a book about Supply Chain 5.0 emerged from a growing trend. Over the past decade, previously unseen operations have come into the global spotlight as the world has discovered, often painfully, that they are our lifelines. A pandemic, geopolitical fragmentation, climate volatility, labor shortages, cyberattacks, emerging technologies, and government interventions exposed a truth we could no longer ignore: The supply chains we built are not designed for the world we now live in.
This book began as an inquiry to understand what comes next. How will new technologies reshape sourcing, planning, production, logistics, and customer experience? And, more importantly, what is the role of people in this evolution? We quickly discovered ...
